while studying some typical cryptid & UFO stuff, i came across the phrase “consensus reality” - specifically, that encounters with the men in black do not occur in that space.
i hadn’t thought about that phrase in a minute, but my first response was to note that that isn’t really a thing anymore. there is no one true consensus reality anymore, & that is both the most freeing & the most terrifying concept.
what this means is that there is no longer a general understanding of how this reality works. there are too many differing ideas, & in this way, we have split this world into the multiverse of our dreams.
i no longer believe in the multiverse in the way that i used to - that is to say, i don’t think there are infinite dimensions that recreate every single variant decision that we could possibly make in this life.
what i do think multiverse theory is, is the divergence of the idea of reality, as well as multiple dimensions existing in onion-like layers cycling out in frequencies both above & below us.
there is a higher self, & in contrast, there is absolutely a lower self. some people succumb to the whims of the lower self, causing reincarnation in this plane of existence until they make the connection, the contact, to that higher self.
we always have the choice to pursue our connection to the higher realms, or ignore it & live in the proverbial gutter of consciousness. it comes easier to some than to others, but i digress.
the divergence of reality centers around the loss of that majority view. this could be viewed as the breaking of the matrix, & the issue is that there are so many convoluted versions of reality that have split off that it’s more likely to trigger a planar collapse or reset than deliver anyone to another frequency.
if you’re online, you can very easily search up a great number of new age influencers who talk about the 5D ascension, & what that means for people who have “done the work.” is this another way of separating collective consciousness, or a valid event?
